Drafting and planning- Draft

This is my draft magazine. I presented them all in front of my class and they gave me a lot of constructive criticism. They let me know that there was a lot of negative space and that some of the cover lines were not easy to read. therefore that i needed to change the colour of my writing or the wallpaper. The writing that went over my contents page image was also seen as a negative as it did not look like a contents page. My peers also suggested that i make the girl on the double page spread smaller and put the other girl off the main image on the other side and this was very useful criticism. 
My teacher then also gave me some criticism that i need to remove 1st from the date line and i also need to get rid of the negative space. I also need to include reviews on my contents and link my contents, front page and double page spread together for example have on the contents about the Vixxens then put a page number and put the page number on the double page spread. 

Organisation- Main image

This is the image i have chosen for my main image. It is against a white background so that it is easy to crop out. The girl on the left is pulling up her collar; this makes her look cool and gives her edge also the expression on her face looks as though she is ready and serious. The girl on the right is leaning to the side and pulling her chain out her mouth. This gives off a rebellious feel and could therefore draw in my target market of teens that enjoy rap in even more. 

Organisation- Main image finals

These are the main image finals. I had to choose out of these which one i would use in my final main image. I choose to have the second image down. The reason for this is that the amount of attitude they are giving off is perfect. I love the way the girl on the right is biting the chain this gives a feeling of rebellion and adds to the freshness of the magazine.  
The girls are also dressed in clothes that can be associated with rappers such as Iggy Azalea. Giving them a ready fresh rappers look. 

Organisation- Cover stars

This is going to be one of my cover photos, I like the picture because it has a wall back ground however as my main image has a wall background therefor I can not do the same. I will crop the photo out and have against a white background. I will also not have his whole body and i will have it as a close up of his face. 

Organisation- Shots I took for my magazine

These are a few shots that I took of a potential picture for my contents page or for my double page spread. This is one of the Vixxen twins that will be my main image. I practiced taking photos in all different places at different angles. The lighting in some is to dim or to bright. The one with her hood up is slightly blury and I want the image to be very clear therfpr it is not a image that i will be using. 

Drafting and planning- What will be in my double page spread

In my double page spread i will write about the interview but i will not write it as an interview. I will include quotes and have it in three different columns so that it is laid out like a stereotypical music magazine. 
The quotes will be larger than the rest of the writing i will also include the body language of the twins and their facial expressions so that the reader can uncover feelings that they would not get out of just reading the interview or about it.
